Concrete can make a surface more usable, but it can also speed up runoff and send water somewhere else if the grade is not designed properly.

A drainage solution should be built for the conditions it will face during real storms, not just for how it looks on installation day. That means durable materials, appropriate compaction, planned slopes, and details that protect nearby structures.
